I moved to Canada from Germany when I was 14 years old. My fascination with animals began in childhood, inspired by David Attenborough, my two pet bunnies, and a deep-rooted passion for animal welfare.
I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. After completing a small animal rotating internship in New Jersey, I joined Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital in 2018. Along the way, I have volunteered with the Winnipeg Humane Society and spent a summer in Uganda, assisting women with raising goats through the Vets-Without-Borders Goat-Pass-On Project.
My professional interests lie in emergency medicine, hospitalized patient care, and soft tissue surgery.
At home, I share my space with two feline companions – Socrates & Archimedes – who keep me endlessly entertained. Outside of work, I find joy in playing the flute, delving into a good book, and practicing yoga.
