I chose the veterinary field because it allows me to combine my love for animals, physiology, and nature to make a positive impact on both pets and their owners. I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in 2019 and have been passionate about animal care ever since.

My main interests lie in wildlife and conservation, and I’ve had the incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field. One of the most memorable moments of my career was participating in an internship program in Peru, where I worked with sloths!

At the clinic, I love being able to comfort pets when they are in a scary situation. Helping them feel safe and supported is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

At home, I have two guinea pigs who keep me entertained!
