I’ve always loved animals, so pursuing a career in veterinary medicine was a natural choice. I graduated from Robertson College’s Veterinary Assistant program in 2023 and now work in a fast-paced emergency vet clinic, where there’s never a dull moment. I thrive in this environment, knowing that each day brings new challenges and opportunities to help both pets and their owners.
My main interests lie in nutrition and preventative care. I constantly strive to learn more about pet nutrition to ensure my own pet stays healthy, and that passion has carried over into my work. Helping pets live longer, healthier lives through proper care and diet is something I find incredibly rewarding.
One of the things I love most about my job is the amazing team I work with. Being surrounded by passionate, dedicated people makes the work even more fulfilling.
Outside of work, I enjoy learning new hobbies to keep busy. I still love to bake, and more recently, I’ve taken up running. At home, I have a domestic shorthair cat named Motor, who keeps me on my toes.
