I chose the veterinary field because it allows me to combine my love for animals with my interest in medicine. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping provide care for animals and seeing them return to their families feeling better.

I’m currently studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of Winnipeg and plan to apply to veterinary school in 2026. My main interests are large animal medicine, particularly equine care, as well as emergency medicine, where every case presents a unique challenge and the opportunity to make a real difference.

Outside of work and school, I’m an avid runner and love participating in local marathons. At home, I’m lucky to be surrounded by animals—I have two dogs (Charlie and Mabel), two cats (Minnie and Toulou), two horses (Raven and Wiley), and two goats (Felix and Fern).
