I’ve always been drawn to animals, and pursuing a career in veterinary medicine allows me to deepen my understanding of them while helping provide the care they need. I’m currently studying Pre-Vet Animal Science at the University of Manitoba, with plans to graduate in 2026.
Small animal emergency and exotic animal care are the areas that interest me most. I love the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine and the challenge of working with a wide variety of species. Every day brings something new, and that keeps me engaged and constantly learning.
One of the best parts of my job is the work environment—everyone here is incredibly supportive and encouraging, which makes coming to work each day even more rewarding.
Outside of veterinary medicine, I have a background in dance and was a competitive dancer for 15 years, earning a national title along the way. At home, I have one amazing mutt named Lady who keeps me on my toes.
