With roots in farm life surrounded by animals, my path to veterinary medicine felt natural despite my background in Accounting and Payroll Administration from Robertson College. This unique combination of skills serves me well in my role as a Veterinary Office Assistant.

While I find all aspects of veterinary medicine fascinating, nothing compares to the joy of witnessing a patient's discharge after an extended hospital stay. The reunion between pet and owner—seeing their mutual happiness as they head home together—represents the most rewarding moments in this profession.

My personal life reflects my professional passion, sharing my home with four dogs and one cat. As I often joke, there are "more dogs than people" in my household—and I wouldn't have it any other way!
