A graduate of Red River's Animal Health Technology Program (1986), I discovered my path to veterinary medicine through a fortuitous conversation with my career counselor. What was initially going to be a career in nursing turned into an amazing journey in animal healthcare when I learned about the Animal Health Technology program.
I'm particularly passionate about emergency medicine and exotic animal care. My experience in the field has led to some unique opportunities, including teaching fish anesthesia and surgery at the University of Manitoba! This specialized knowledge, combined with my years of experience, allows me to provide comprehensive care to a wide variety of patients.
When I'm not at the clinic working alongside our wonderful team, I spend my time at home with my pets - my dog Elliot and cat Bingles, who keep me company and remind me why I chose this rewarding field.
I'm excited to be part of your pet's healthcare journey and to provide them with the best possible care.
