Charmissa has been part of the Bridgwater team since August 2017. Many of you may recognize her voice and smile as she previously worked for Best Friends Animal Hospital for 4 years. Charmissa started working in veterinary medicine as a volunteer at 15 years old. She knew at that moment that she was meant to work in this field. She is lucky to be "owned" by her Husky Cross "Gucci", her new baby "Moose", four kitties and two horses.
Heather is a life-long animal lover and a 2016 Honors Graduate of the Robertson College Online Veterinary Office Assistant program. She was very fortunate to take part in the extensive pre-opening training and to be part of the opening team here at Bridgwater and she is very proud to work at this facility with a remarkable, devoted group of people. Her past experience has included working in a customer service capacity through different roles in very different industries, and serving as a volunteer in an advisory and advocacy position in the school system. As a proud Mom of 4 wonderful women, a pet-Mom forever, and a cancer participant, she has experience from both sides of the counter when it comes to facilitating respectful, compassionate visits for you in our hospital.
Her pet family currently consists of 3 cats, Oliver the brave, Christopher the diabetic, and Tinkerbell the decoration; as well as 2 dogs, Emily the licker, and Timothy, in charge of crowd control. An occasional foster dog through a local rescue joins the household when possible for some tlc before becoming a member of a new loving family.
Jessica started working as a Veterinary Office Assistant at Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital in August of 2017. She has worked with animals from a young age volunteering in shelters, helping with rescue organizations and working within veterinary hospitals. She is currently working towards completing her degree in nursing at Red River College. Although she is pursuing a career in human medicine, working with animals is a passion she will continue to follow in her life. Jessica has a particular interest in the emergency aspect Bridgwater has to offer to individuals and the triaging done within the hospital. The training she has had as a nursing student has given her the skills to be able to help assess animals walking through our doors in an emergent setting.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her two small dogs "Joey" and "Penny", being outdoors and traveling.
Liz graduated with honors from the Robertson College Veterinary Office Assistant program. She was a part of the opening team here at Bridgwater and has greatly enjoyed working with such an extraordinary group of people. Prior to starting her job at Bridgwater, Liz worked as an office administrator for 5 years, as well as 2 years as a sales representative at Petland which sparked her love and passion for animals.
During her free time, Liz enjoys spending time cuddling with her fur babies; terrier mix "Zara", the tripod, shepherd mix "Moc", her sensitive boy and retriever mix "Peanut", the crazy puppy.
