Dr. Delores Faucher received her degree from WCVM. Dr. Faucher has been practicing emergency/critical care medicine for the past 8 years. While she mainly practices with dogs and cats, she is also able to provide emergency care for exotic species.
Dr. Choptain has spent over 22 years in the field of veterinary medicine. She completed two bachelors degrees ( Bachelor of Animal Sciences and Bachelor of Science Major Microbiology) through the University of Manitoba before heading to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Choptain completed her veterinary degree in 2012. In her final year of rotation she completed a 1 month externship, in emergency and critical care, at the Arizona Veterinary Specialists Hospitals in Gilbert and Phoenix Arizona. Dr. Choptain has a strong interest in critical care management and internal medicine.
She also has a passion for endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery. She completed her training in both rigid and flexible endoscopy in 2014 through the Oquendo Center. She also began her laparoscopic surgery training in 2016 through the Colorado State Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She looks forward to further training in this field in the near future.
Dr. Tait joined the Bridgwater team in September of 2017 but has had the pleasure of working for the Winnipeg Veterinary Care Group since October of 2010. Dr. Tait received her Bachelor of Science degree from Brandon University in 2005 and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
Dr. Tait enjoys practicing general wellness medicine combined with the more complicated cases that arrive during emergency and referral appointments.
Dr. Tait is kept busy outside of work by her husband, Kyle, and her two young daughters, Nora, and Sarah. Rounding out the family are the fat cat, Mac, and the greying old dog, Colby. Dr. Tait is an avid book collector and reader (when she can find the time).
Dr. Teerhuis joined the Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital team in April, 2018. She completed a Bachelor of Science double major degree in biology and biochemistry at the University of Winnipeg before being accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskaoon, SK. Dr. Teerhuis developed a keen interest in emergency and critical care medicine during her studies and performed a rotating externship in Manahttan, New York. She graduated with a doctorate of veterinary medicine degree in 2010 and has been working in small animal and emergency medicine ever since. Dr. Teerhuis has a passion for emergency medicine, surgery, orthopedics, and exotics. When she’s not working, Dr. Teerhuis enjoys spending time with her husband, Kris, their little boy, Austin, and two dogs, Abigail and Bailey. In her spare time she enjoys cooking new recipes and taking pictures of her toddler.
Dr. Susanne Klonisch completed a Bachelor of Human Genetics (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba before heading to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine to study veterinary medicine. She completed her veterinary degree in 2017.
Dr. Klonisch developed a strong interest in emergency medicine and completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists: a specialty, emergency & critical care practice in New Jersey in 2018.
With her passion for emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery she joined the Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital team in December, 2018, where she continues to care for critically ill patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Klonisch enjoys reading, playing the flute and spending time with her cat, Archimedes.
